Does Kryptip hold my money?

No. Tips move directly from your wallet to the streamer’s wallet through an open smart contract. Kryptip can’t access, freeze, or hold your funds at any point.

Which wallets and networks are supported?

Any injected EVM wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet and others). It works on Ethereum and Base (plus Sepolia / Base Sepolia testnets), and automatically prompts you to switch networks when needed.

What does it cost?

A flat 5% platform fee (capped at 10% in the contract), split automatically in the same transaction. You’ll also pay the network’s gas fee, like any on-chain transaction.

How does the chat shout-out work?

After your tip confirms, the extension reports the transaction to the Kryptip backend, which verifies the on-chain event and posts a message in the streamer’s Kick chat using their authorised token. Because it reads the real on-chain data, announcements can’t be spoofed.

I’m a streamer: what do I need?
